About Us

Together For Jackson County Kids (TFJCK) is a community based coalition, which was organized formally in 1988.  Together For Jackson County Kids was awarded nearly $100,000.00 of Drug Free Communities Federal Prevention monies in 2003 and has consecutively received DFC monies for the last 7 years. The Office Of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) are responsible for administering and supervising DFC grant funds and programming activities.  The funds have enabled the coalition to organize, staff and incorporate several nationally recognized anti-drug & community building programs.
